CLEOPATRA

REZIME
Rad je pisan s ciljem da se utvrde teškoće koje je antiĉki svet nametao prvim ţenama vladaricama.
Takoðe ovaj rad predstavlja pokušaj da se pojasne misterije koje se vezuju za liĉnosti kraljice
Hatšepsut, Nefertiti i Kleopatre. Ove vladarice su izabrane jer su prve ţene koje su vladale Egiptom,
najmoćnijim i najrazvijenijim carstvom tadašnjeg sveta, ali i zbog njihove spremnosti i odluĉnosti u
suoĉavanju sa svim ograniĉenjima koja su ih pratila kao ţene.
Analizirane su studije o ţivotima egipatskih kraljica i o vremenu u kom su ţivele. Radi
sveobuhvatnosti u istraţivanje su ukljuĉena i neka kontraverzna nauĉna shvatanja i diskutabilne
teorije. Potrebno je napomenuti da analiza nije vršena sa ciljem dokazivanja neke od teorija.
Bez namere da se dublje uðe u sociološke rasprave nameće se zakljuĉak da su ţivot i poloţaj tri
kljuĉne vladarice starog Egipta pruţili istorijsku osnovu za emancipaciju ţene u predstojećim
vremenskim epohama. Posebnost svake kraljice ukazuje na bitnost kulturoloških faktora koji su
uticali na poloţaj ţene. Kroz tri reprezentativna ţenska lika istaknuta je vrednost ţene u svetskoj
istoriji.

SUMMARY
This work has been written with the aim to identify the difficulties that the ancient world imposed on
the first female rulers. It also represents an attempt to clarify the mysteries connected with the
personalities such as queen Hatchepsut, Nefertiti and Cleopatra. These female rulers have been
chosen not only becouse they were the first women to rule Egypt, the most powerful and the most
developed empire of the ancient world, but also becouse of their readiness and determination in
confronting all the limitations they were faced with as women.
The studies about lives of the Egyptian queens and about the time they lived in have been analysed.
In order to make the reserch more comprehensive, some contraversal scientific approaches and
disputable theories have been included. It should be mentioned that the analysis has not been done
with the aim of proving any of these theories.
With no intention of getting deeper into sociological disputes, it can be rightly concluded that the
lives and positions of the three key female rulers of the ancient Egypt lay historical foundations for
emancipation of woman in the times to come.The uniqueness of each of the queens indicates the
importance of cultural factors that influences the position of women. These three representative
female characters point out the importance of women in world history.
