                                                         1. REZIME

Veruje se dа oštećenje ćelijа prouzrokovаno slobodnim rаdikаlimа imа centrаlnu ulogu u procesu stаrenjа
i progresiji bolesti.
optimаlnog zdrаvljа. Potrebа zа аntioksidаnsimа povećаvа se sа povišenim izlаgаnjem slobodnim
rаdikаlimа. Zаgаđenje, duvаnski dim, droge, bolesti, stres pа čаk i ekstremni fizički napori mogu dа
               povećаju nivo slobodnih rаdikаlа.

u ciju poboljsavanja njegove ishrane pa time i zdravlja.

neutralizuje slobodnoradikalske karakteristike ovog jedinjenja.

                                                        SUMMARY

Damage to cells caused by free radicals is believed to play a central role in the aging process and in
disease progression. Antioxidants are the first line of defense against free radical damage, and are critical
for maintaining optimum health and wellbeing. The need for antioxidants becomes even more critical
with increased exposure to free radicals. Pollution, cigarette smoke, drugs, illness, stress, and even
exercise can increase free radical exposure.

The aim of this experiment is to show which element is the most useful in successful germination of wheat
seed, and to do so in a precise enough fashion, so as to allow the results to be applicable to humans in the
aim of improving his nutrition and well being.

In this research, the effects of vitamins A, E and C on wheat seed treated with hydrogen were studied. The
hypothesis was that the wheat seed already contains all necessary antioxidants needed for optimal
development in normal conditions. Therefore an equal amount of hydrogen and an equal amount of
different vitamins was used, in order to discover which is the most effective one in neutralizing the
damaging effects of this compound. The assumption was that, judging by the theoretical data, the
strongest antioxidant would be vitamin C, followed by vitamin E and lastly vitamin A.
