UTICAJ ZRAĈENJA He-Ne LASERA NA KLIJANJE SEMENA PŠENICE

                  EFFECTS OF IRRADIATION WITH HE-NE LASER ON THE GERMINATION OF
                                                     WHEAT SEEDS

                                                          RЕZIME


                      Ispitan    je  uticaj  zračenja  helijum-neonskog  lasera  na  klijanje  semena  pšenice.  Određivana  je
               klijavost  semena,  kao  i  aktivnost  α-amilaze,  enzima  koji  razgrađuje  skrob  i  koji  je  aktivan  u  procesu

               klijanja.  Upoređivan  je  broj  proklijalih  semena  u  tretiranim  grupama  sa  brojem  proklijalih  semena  u
               kontrolnoj grupi. Zaključeno je da je  klijavost zračenih semena u odnosu na kontrolnu grupu povećana,
               kao  i da  nema statistički značajne  razlike  u  aktivnosti    α-amilaze  između tretiranih i  kontrolne  grupe.

               Razlika u dužini klica između zračenih grupa i kontrolne je statistički zanemarljiva.

                                                       SUMMARY


                       The influence of the He-Ne (helium-neon) laser radiation on the sprouting of the wheat seed is

               examined  in  this  work.  The  sprouting  of  the  seeds  were  determined,  as  well  as  the  activity  of  the  α-
               amylases,  an  enzyme  which  decomposes  the  starch,  which  is  active  during  the  sprouting  process.  The
               number of sprouted seeds in treated groups were contrasted with the number of sprouted seeds of the

               controlled group. According to the research there were several conclusions. It was determined that the
               sprouting of the radiated seeds was increased compared to the control group, but there was no statistical

               significant difference in the activity of the α-amylases between the treated and the control. The difference
               in the length of the sprouts of the irradiated group and the control is statistically insignificant.
