REZIME
Haemophysialis, Margaropus i Hyalomma.
erlihioza i lajšmanioza.
Babezioza je oboljenje sisara uzrokovano brojnim vrstama protozoa roda Babesia. To je parazitsko oboljenje
domadih i divljih sisara i čoveka, akutnog ređe hroničnog toka uzrokavano krvnim parazitima iz roda Babesia. Bolest
Rhipicephalus bursa, Ixodes ricinus i Dermacentor marginatus. Cilj rada je upoznavanje sa životnim ciklusom
Babesia canis.

Ticks are obligate ectoparasites that feed on the blood of the host. Ticks transmit a number of causes of bacterial,
viral and parasitic aetiology, causing lesions that can succumb to secondary bacterial infections at the site of
secreted toxins, and if at the same time a large number of parasitic ticks on an animal, anemia can occur, while the
more sensitive individuals, and death.
In animals in our country following genera parasitize ticks: Rhipicephalus, Ixodes, Dermacentor, Haemophysialis,
Margaropus and Hyalomma. The most dangerous disease transmitted by ticks are babesiosis, anaplazmoza,
ehrlichiosis and Lajšmanioza.
Babesiosis is a disease of mammals caused by numerous species of protozoa of the genus Babesia. It is a parasitic
disease of domestic and wild mammals and man, rarely acute chronic course uzrokavano blood parasites of the
genus Babesia. The disease is widespread around the world, appearing in many regions of the country especially in
dogs, rarely in cattle and sheep, and the least common in horses. Babezijama infection usually occurs in summer,
but it is possible whenever a tick, in our geographic area that is between March and November months .. The
disease is obligantno-transmissible because the onset of the disease needs the presence of ticks, which is a
biological vector in the transmission of infection.
The most common types of ticks that lead to the emergence, maintenance and expansion of babesiosis among
dogs were Rhipicephalus bursa, Ixodes ricinus and Dermacentor marginatus.
The aim is to introduce the life cycle of Babesia canis.
