                                                        Rezime

               U  ovom  radu  su  prikazane  i  dokazane  neke  najvaţnije  osobine  Dekartovog
               koordinatnog sistema. Radi lakšeg razmevanja ubaĉene su slike uz svaki deo rada. Uz

               svaku sliku i objasnjenje sledi po jedan primer.  Rad je podeljen na ĉetri celina:

               *Definicija taĉke

               *Delovi DKS-a;


               * Sistemi na koje se DKS deli;

               *Rastojanje izmedju 2 taĉke i

               * Jednaĉina kruţnice


               Dekartov  koordinatni  sistem  (DKS)  je  dobio  ime  po  francuskom  nauĉniku  Rene
               Dekartu.Otkriće  Dekartovog  koordinatnog  sistema  je  donelo  veliki  doprinos  u
               analitiĉkoj geometriji, matematici i kartografiji.


                                                       Summary

               In  this  paper  are  shown  and  proven  some  of  the  most  important  characteristics  of
               Descartes coordinate system. For easier understanding pictures are inserted in every
               part of paper.  Every picture and explanation are followed by example. The paper is
               divided into five parts:


               *Definition of point;

               *Parts of DCS;


               * Systems that share the DCS;

               *Distance between two points and

               *Equation of a circle


               Descartes  coordinate  system  (DCS)  has  been  named  by  French  scientist  Rene
               Descartes. Discovery of Descartes coordinate system brought a great contribution

                in analytical geometry, math and cartography.
