                                                       REZIME
procesora direktno utice frekvencija procesorskog clocka ciju ucestalost izrazavamo u GHz.
Ona ne predstavlja direktnu meru procesorske snage zbog razlika u arkitekturi, medjutim
svakako igra presudnu ulogu.
Side Bus) i mnozioca (multypler).
podize iznad nominalne, fabricki podesene. Overclocking moze predstavljati ozbiljan rizik,

               ocigledan.

                                                      SUMMARY
CPU (Central Procesing Unit) is a basic part of every computer. CPU frequency is measured
in GHz. It doesn’t actually represent the actual measure of processor performance, but it is
very significant for sure. Frequency-Clock is generated with FSB-Front Side Bus and
Multypler. Overclocking is a process of rising CPU frequency above default, set by
manufacturer. Overclocking can be considerd as a risk, due to numerous issues that can be
caused, but if its done correctly, performance jump is great. The point of this work is to show
how much can OC-ing really affect performance, and to find the final limit of Intel Pentium D
               915. During the experiment, a good air-cooling has been used, and in the end, its evin
modded. After the OC-ing, numerous benchmark tests have been done, and results were
compared to the ones before OC-ing. The gained results are really outstanding, and the
difference is huge. Last stable clock is reached at 4.2GHz, and that is 50% more than default
value of 2.8GHz. Performance jump is evident.
