KORISCENJE PESAMA I KRATKIH PRICA U NASTAVI ENGLESKOG JEZIKA
USING SHORT STORIES,POEMS AND SONGS IN TEACHING ENGLISH

Rezime
Cilj ovog istrazivanja je prikazati nacine na koje pesme i kratke price mogu da se primenjuju u nastavi
engleskog jezika. Prilikom pisanja ovog rada koristili smo razlicite vrste literature. Pesme i kratke price
pomazu na razlicite nacine u savladavanju gradiva engleskog jezika. Kroz njih se uci i uvezbava
gramatika,prosiruje vokabular i vezba izgovor. One opisuju razlicita zivotna iskustva. Kroz pesme i kratke
price daje se prikaz razlicitih kultura i tradicija,a sve to obogacuje i povecava opste obrazovanje. Pesme i
kratke price povecavaju aktivno ucestvovanje ucenika na casu. Kratke price i pesme povecavaju zelju
ucenika da komuniciraju i na taj nacin razvijaju govorne sposobnosti,podsticu mastu i kreativnost,kao i
saradnju dece. Na kraju,delovi pesama i kratkih prica mogu se koristiti i kao vrsta testova za proveru
ucenickog znanja .

Summary
The aim of this research is to show/present the ways that can be used to apply short stories,poems and
songs to English language teaching. While writing this work,we were using differents kinds of
literature.Short stories,poems
and songs can help learning English language in different ways.Using them,pupils(students)learn and
practice grammar,widen their vocabulary and practice pronunciation.Stories and poems describe different
experiences of life.They also present different cultures and traditions.All this mentioned above enlarges
and enriches general knowledge of pupils(students).Short stories and poems and songs expand pupils‟ will
to communicate and they develop speaking skills,stimulate imagination and creativity,as well as
cooperation among children.Finally,parts of short stories ,poems and songs can be used as a sort of testing
materials for checking pupils‟(students‟)knowledge.
