Rezime
ravne tabane.
Većina predškolaca ima ravne tabane, tj. njih osmoro (4 deĉaka i 4 devojĉice); normalne tabane ima šestoro
ispitanika (3 deĉaka i 2 devojĉice), dok poluravne tabane imaju dve devojĉice.
bave i dodatnim sportom.
kombinovano i uzrokuju pojavu ravnih tabana.
Kljuĉne reĉi: stopala, tabani, gojaznost, genetika.
Summary
Purpose of this research is to determine key factors which influence occurrences of flat soles at children in
earliest age. There were 15 (fifteen) children – 8 (eight) girls and 7 (seven) boys from preschool age analyzed – from
age 4 (four) to 5 (five). Their footprints were taken, body height and weight. Information of possible sport activites
was noted, if existed. Their parents were interrogated about family members who had or have flate soles.
Most of the preschool children have flat soles, e.g. 8 (eight) of them – 4 (four) boys and 4 (four) girls. Five
of them have normal soles – 3 (three) boys and 2 (two) girls. Half-flat soles were found at 2 (two) girls. Three kids
from the observed group were overweight – 2 (two) girls whit half-flat soles and 1 (one) boy with normal soles. One
girl with half-flat soles and one boy with flat soles were involved into additional sport activities. One third of the
group members had some relatives with flat soles.
The flat soles are becoming more common at overweight preschool children or those with reduced sport
activities even if there were no genetic predisposition for such irregularity. It is rare case that only genetics is
responsible for this phenomenon. Genetics is mostly combined with increased body mass and inactive way of life.
This results lead us to the conclusion that genetics factors, overweight and insufficient physical activities mostly
appear in some combination, bringing the flat soles phenomenon.
Key words: feet, soles, overweight, genetics.
