Abstract

There are many differences in Tolkien's The Fellowship of the Ring, between books and
movies. The aim of research was to explore the differences and inform the readers on and how
they are made. I found out that without those differences a movie would not be a little bit of a
mystery for a watcher, and that those differences make the movie interesting. Literature and
filmography use different ways to tell the story and attract the reader or the watcher. Literature
asserts and the movie shows. It is true that we watch a movie based on the book, but while we
read we use our minds to create the images. On the other hand movie producers show us what the
hero and the scenery look like which prevents us from imagining them. Both the movie and the
book have their own ways of bringing the story to life and highlighting the particular elements of
the story, and this is what this research focuses on.

Apstrakt

PostojedostarazlikaizmeĊu Tolkinovog dela Družinaprstenaifilma. Ciljovogistrazivanja je
prouĉavanjerazlikai da informišemĉitaocekakosu one napravljene. Otkrila sam da bez tih razlika
film ne bi bio misterija, i da one ĉine film zanimljiv. Knjizevnost i filmografija koriste drugaĉije
naĉine kako bi ispriĉali priĉu i privukli ĉitaoca ili gledaoca. „Knjiţevnosttvrdi a film pokazuje“.
Istina je da gledamo filmove bazirane na knjigama, ali dok ĉitamo mi koristimo umove kako bi
stvorili slike. S druge strane filmski producenti nam pokazuju kako heroj i scene izgledaju što nas
spreĉava da zamišljamo. I film i knjiga imaju svoje naĉine oţivljavanja priĉe i isticanja odreĊenih
elemenata, i to je na šta se fokusira ovoistraţivanje.
