SLIĈNOSTI I RAZLIKE IZMEĐU EUKLIDOVE GEOMETRIJE I SFERNE
GEOMETRIJE

REZIME
Cilj rada je da ispita sliĉnosti i razlike izmeĊu Euklidove geometrije i sferne
geometrije i da pokaţe zavisnost izmeĊu njih.
Euklidova geometrija je nastala jos u Staroj Grĉkoj, ali je i dan danas u upotrebi.
Otkrivanjem da je planeta Zemlja okrugla, nastaje nova geometrija, koja je nazvana
sferna geometrija. Danas ima široku primenu u svetu, jer je bazirana na sferi. Najĉešće se
koristi u navigaciji, astronomiji, geodeziji, kartografiji, moreplovstvu. Zainteresovala me
ova tema i ove geometrije bas zbog toga što su meĊusobno povezane, jer sam ih ja
smatrao kao dva „suprotna sveta“. Euklidova geometrija govori o pravim linijama, tj.
pravim pravama, dok sferna govori o zakrivljenim pravama koje obrazuju krug.
SUMMARY
The aim of this project examine similarities and differences between Euclidean
geometry and spherical geometry and show dependence between them.
Euclidean geometry has became in ancient Greece, we are still using it today. The
discovery that the planet Earth is round gave birth to a new geometry, called spherical
geometry. Today it has very wide application because it is based on a sphere. It is used in
navigation, astronomy, geodesy, cartography, seamanship. This topic and these two
geometries made me interested because they are interconnected and because I thought of
them as two opposite worlds. Euclid's geometry tells about straight lines, while spherical
tells about curved ones that make up a circle.
