Basic operations for exploring winning combinations in
poker are combinatoric operations. Focus was on defining
number of combinations:

Luck games can’t be imagined without a probability theory.
The probability theory describes chance for fulfilling any
expetation. Probability for happening of any situation can
be calculated with help of formula:

Tactical part of game reflects in mathematical area which is
called game theory. Game theory can be defined as applied
mathematical branch which uses mathematical models for
researching cooperation and conflict between intelligent
rational decision-makers.
Usage of game theory in poker is best observed in tactics
like bluff, passive play etc. The game element in poker is
conflict between players and dependence of their decisions.
Difference between poker and other luck games is part-
control of chances and tactical element.
