SUMMARY

Of the many musical genres that exist in our culture, you would find it hard to name a few that express that
much of emotion like Heavy Metal. This is one of the main reasons why I chose this subject. With more than thirty
years of history Heavy Metal was and still is one of the most criticized music genres in modern culture. Vulgarity is
one of the main reasons why most of our parents disapprove of it. Of course satanic behavior of some bands and

their fans is also one of the problems. Moreover, suicidal lyrics of certain bands spread a worldwide concern of
parents for their children and loved ones. These are the problems that I will research in my paper. And my main goal
will be to explain the other side of Heavy Metal. Many songs of some bands are about things that you encounter in
every day life, like stories about children growing up and even love. Key words: Heavy Metal, Problems, Bands,
Music.

Od mnogo muziĉkih ţanrova koji postoje u našoj kulturi teško ćete naći par koji izraţavaju toliko emocija
kao Hevi Metal. Ovo je jedan od glavnih razloga zbog kog sam izabrala ovu temu. Sa više od trideset godina istorije
Hevi Metal je bio i jos uvek je jedan od najvise kritikovanih muziĉkih ţanrova moderne kulture. Vulgarnost je jedan
od glavnih razloga zbog ĉega ga naši roditelji ne odobravaju. Naravno, satanistiĉko ponasanje nekih bendova i
njihovih fanova takoĊje je jedan od problema. TakoĊe samoubilaĉki tekstovi odreĊenih bendova šire globalnu
zabrinutost roditelja za njihovu decu i voljene. Ovo su problemi koje ću istaţiti. I moj glavni cilj biće da objasnim
drugu stranu Hevi Metala. Mnogo pesama nekih bendova su o stvarima koje susrećemo u svakodnevnom ţivotu, kao

priĉe o odrastanju ili ĉak ljubavi. Kljuĉne reĉi: Hevi Metal, Problemi, Bendovi, Muzika.
