Abstract

We all like to travel and visit new places. Our parents take us to trips as often as they can.
That is exciting, but one country, which is very beautiful and specific to me is the United
Kingdom. I have not been there, although I have heard many stories about British people and
their habits. Their life is a bit different from ours. While I listen and read about them,
somehow it makes me feel like many doors are opening and taking me to a whole new
world. Their daily routine, religion and culture differ from habits of the Serbian people. The
United Kingdom is a country in Europe which consists of four countries: England, Scotland,
Wales and Northern Ireland. It is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the North Sea, and
it is in the western part of Europe. Great Britain is well - known because of its customs. It
exhales with energy and good life.When we were little we used to think how other countries
are very far from us. As we are growing up, we realize that everything is near if we wish to
travel and explore new places. For me, Great Britain represents a place I need to discover. As
I have already mentioned, I have explored a lot about the United Kingdom. I hope that You
are interested and that in the next pages You will enjoy reading about this magnificent land.

Apstrakt

Svi mi volimo da putujemo i da posećujemo nova mesta. Naši roditelji nas vode na putovanja
što češće mogu. To je uzbudljivo, ali jedna država, koja je meni veoma lepa i specifična je
Velika Britanija. Nisam bila tamo, mada sam čula mnogo priča o Britancima i njihovim
navikama. Njihov život je malo drugačiji od našeg. Dok slušam i čitam o njima, nekako se
osećam kao da se mnoga vrata otvaraju i odnose me u potpuno novi svet. Njihova
svakodnevnica, religija i kultura se razlikuju od navika ljudi u Srbiji. Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo je
država u Evropi koja se sastoji od četiri država: Engleske, Škotske, Velsa i Severne Irske.
Nalazi se između Atlantskog okeana i Severnog mora, i to je u zapadnom delu Evrope. Velika
Britanija je poznata po svojim običajima. Odiše energijom i dobrim životom. Kada smo bili
mali mislili smo kako je svaka država veoma udaljena od nas. Kako postajemo stariji,
shvatamo da je sve blizu ako želimo da putujemo i istražujemo nova mesta. Za mene, Velika
Britanija predstavlja neko mesto koje treba da otkrijem. Kao što rekoh, dosta sam istraživala
o Velikoj Britanji. Nadam se da ste zainteresovani i da ćete na sledećim stranicama uživati
čitajući o ovoj veličanstvenoj zemlji .
