                                                                SUMMARY

Henry the eighth, the second monarch of the House of Tudor, is known as one of the most
famous figures of renaissance England. An educated, accomplished and charismatic ruler,
Henry ruled England for 38 years, during which England went through an intense period
of growth and reform. Old bonds and alliances were shattered, new ones were made, the
old ways were pushed aside to make way for the new ones. Though by many opinions,
Henry's daughter, Elizabeth I, is regarded as the main reformer of England in the XVI
century, her reign would have been without much of its luster, were it not for her father's
doings. Henry's reign, although somewhat less impressionable politically than Elizabeth's,
was in fact the prelude to the new age of British superiority. His reforms changed England
in such a radical way that it formed the basis for the world's future most powerful
superpower, the British Empire. The purpose of this work is to give further insight into all
the noteworthy changes Henry's reign brought to England and how they affected England
for years to come, with personal opinions included about the grand deeds done in that
                      time.

                                                          REZIME

Englaske. Obrazovani, priznati i harizmatiĉni vladar.
Stare
veze i savezi su bili raskinuti, novi su sklopljeni, stari obiĉaji su odgurnuti u stranu zarad
novih.
                      poĉinjenim u to vreme.
