REZIME

Još od nastanka čoveka matematika i muzika su oko njega i u njemu. Oko 5 vekova pre nove ere Pitagora
je razvio učenje o proporcijama i otkrio da je odnos 3:2 kvinta, a odnos 4:3 kvarta i tako prvi povezao
matematiku sa muzikom.

U ovom radu demo se baviti onim što su ljudi otkrili o povezanosti matematike i muzike od Pitagore pa
do danas.

SUMMERY

Since the creation of man, mathematics and music have been around him and inside him. About 5
centuries BC, Pythagoras developed the doctrine of proportions and found that the ratio of 3:2 is the
perfect fifth and the ratio of 4:3 is the perfect fourth. He was the first person to make connection
between mathematics and music.
In this paper we will deal with people’s discoveries about the connection between mathematics and
music of Pythagoras to the present.
